OffdIsland is a Malta-based family that continuously seeks out new experiences and explorations, both locally and abroad. They aim to inspire other families to embark on similar adventures by sharing itineraries and promoting activities related to exploring natural surroundings. With a strong foundation built through social media, they recognised a growing demand for curated outdoor activities for families, such as hiking tours and treasure hunts.
The main challenge for OffdIsland was moving beyond the limitations of their Instagram account to offer a richer and more interactive experience for their growing audience. Up until they reached out to us, Instagram had been their sole platform, but they wanted to establish a full brand identity for their developing business. With increasing requests for detailed itineraries and travel advice, they needed a centralised platform that could not only share blog posts and guidance but also feature a dynamic map, event management, and an online merchandise store. The website needed to be user-friendly, visually engaging, and tailored for families seeking adventure.
To tackle this issue, we developed a dedicated website that served as a comprehensive hub for outdoor adventures. We focused on creating an organised and easily navigable platform where families could find detailed itineraries, book activities, and purchase necessary gear—all in one place. The interactive map feature was particularly important, as it allowed users to explore locations and activities in their vicinity, offering a more immersive experience.
This project allowed us to deliver a platform that combined detailed exploration tools with modern e-commerce functionality, filling a gap that the client previously struggled with on social media platforms. It was an interesting challenge for us, and we are pleased to see how the platform has brought OffdIsland’s vision to life.
