Property Haus is a newly established property agency specialising in both residential and commercial real estate. As a new business, they sought to create a distinctive brand that would resonate with their target market and build an online presence that combined functionality and style. Property Haus wanted a solution that could not only attract clients but also support their internal operations with an efficient property management system.

The Challenge

As a startup in a competitive real estate market, Property Haus faced two primary challenges. First, they needed to build their brand from the ground up, establishing an identity that would set them apart from other agencies in the industry. Second, they required a comprehensive digital platform that could serve dual functions: an intuitive, client-facing website from which the clients can search for available properties and a backend property management system for their internal team to efficiently manage listings, sales, rentals, and communication with property owners.

Our Solution

Branding & Workshops:
We started by working closely with Property Haus through collaborative workshops to define their brand identity. Our designer created a moodboard that set the tone for their brand’s visual elements—colours, fonts, and overall style. The chosen colour scheme drew inspiration from the natural tones of limestone and terracotta, reflecting the earthy and timeless essence of local architecture. Together with the client, we developed a logo and brand aesthetic that resonated with Property Haus' commitment to both residential and commercial clients, while maintaining a strong connection to the environment.
Website Design & Development:
With the branding in place, we moved on to designing a user-friendly website. Our goal was to create a platform that was not only visually appealing but also practical for both users and the Property Haus team. The site features separate property pages for residential and commercial listings, ensuring that potential clients can easily navigate and find what they’re looking for. We also implemented an advanced search feature that allows users to filter properties by location, price, property type, and property features amongst other filters.
Backend Property Management System:
A key aspect of the project was developing a unified backend system that serves as both a property management tool and a control centre for the Property Haus website content. This system allows the Property Haus team to update website displays in real-time, manage rental and sale listings, and maintain detailed property information, including prices, commissions, and property status. Property owner information is securely stored and linked to their respective properties, and website inquiries are automatically directed to the admin. The concept of roles and permissions had to also be implemented to ensure that agents, admins, and other team members have the appropriate permissions to manage listings and property data.

The Result

The final solution was a robust platform that met Property Haus’ needs on both the frontend and backend. The website provides a seamless experience for users to explore properties, while the backend property management system enables the team to manage their listings and business processes efficiently.
